How to do an injection

  • Wash your hands;
  • Take 1ml of saline (0.9% sodium chloride solution) into the insulin injector, enter it into a vial with Allokin-alpha, slightly shake the solution, then enter all the contents of the vial back into the insulin injector;
  • Treat the injection site with an alcohol napkin or an alcohol cotton pad;
  • Take the skinfold with your left hand (Pic. 1);
  • Insert the needle at the base of the skinfold. The injection is made at 45° angle to a depth of 1-2 cm into the upper part of the folds (Pic. 2);
  • Slowly inject the contents of injector (don't put the syringe from one hand to another);
  • After finishing the injection, remove the needle and only then release the skinfold;
  • Press the injection site with an alcohol cotton ball;
  • Do not use the injector again;
